As the sanctuary of Bethany First Church is being renewed, the seats are being replaced. A few of the 50-year-old worship seats will become “reassigned legacy,” as the foundation for creating unique pieces of art. A roster of almost 25 of Oklahoma’s most highly regarded artists will be participating. The Oklahoma History Center will host an open exhibit of the final creations from September 21-24, culminating with a grand virtual auction at 7pm on September 24. This project will provide shelter and restoration for victims of abuse — a place of refuge to help troubled and endangered victims. Tickets are $25 each.
