We want to guide them in using these tools wisely, ensuring their safety and promoting healthy boundaries.

Celebrate the birth of Jesus with the whole family at one of our annual Christmas Eve services! Each one-hour, family-friendly service includes familiar Christmas music, an Advent message, and “Silent Night” by candlelight. Stop by the Atrium after each service for a Christmas celebration with coffee, hot chocolate, snacks, photo booths, and a Christmas activity for kids.

Join our fall Bible Study as we read the book of Galatians and discover the “freedom of living by faith.”

In Galatians, the Apostle Paul is shocked to hear false teachers had convinced his new Galatian brothers and sisters in Christ that God’s free gift of justification by grace came with a catch. Troublemakers accused Paul of hiding fine print that would require the Galatians to not only believe in Jesus but also fulfill parts of the law. Paul gets out his sharpest quill to pen a pointed defense of the true Gospel, explaining in no uncertain terms that “by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone” is not merely a starting point but the “be all, end all” of true Christian freedom. "How foolish can you be? After starting your new lives in the Spirit, why are you now trying to become perfect by your own human effort?" Galatians 3:3 NLT

Join people from all ages over central Oklahoma who come to run, walk or cycle to raise funds for needed ministries in Eswatini, Africa (formerly Swaziland) and in Bethany, Oklahoma! Bethany First Church of the Nazarene is an active local church serving its community as well as the world in an effort to bring hope and healing to the nations through Christ.

Registration for the 2024 Swazi 5k is now live and available here!

The Swazi 5K impacts people in Eswatini and in Bethany, OK.

  1. It promotes awareness in our community of the needs of Eswatini (formerly Swaziland). Though HIV is declining, Eswatini is still the country with the highest rate of HIV and TB in the world.

  2. It encourages personal health for participants.

  3. It raises funds for three important recipients:

  • Funding for the HIV/AIDS Task Force, who are providing food and medicines to those who are ill in their homes with HIV, TB, and non-communicable diseases like asthma and diabetes. 

  • Funding for Haven of Hope, a women’s rescue shelter in Eswatini who are providing a safe place for abused women.

  • The Bethany After-School Program, provides a daily nutritious snack, tutoring, and a safe place to be for over 200 Bethany children every weekday afternoon during the school year.

A come-and-go experience on Friday, March 29, from 12 to 8pm, that will take 20-30 minutes. The Chapel will be transformed into a sacred space to journey to the cross with Jesus at six family-friendly, multi-sensory stations. Each stop along the way will engage your senses and help you encounter Jesus in a fresh way. We hope you'll join us as we focus on both the suffering of Jesus and the way he responds with grace, love, and compassion.

WAKE UP! The study of Jeremiah – God’s alarm clock for His people. God’s people are asleep to God’s Word. They have forgotten the LORD, disobeyed Him, and are ensnared by idols and the trappings of this world. They can’t hear the LORD or see His coming judgment. Jeremiah is God’s mouthpiece, shouting for them to WAKE UP. Join us as we make Jeremiah’s call personal—that we might WAKE UP to GOD’s WORD and WALK in HIS WAYS. Workbook is $20. 

Only new participants need to sign up for our second semester in Jeremiah. If you weren’t part of last semester—still come! You will not be lost. We will have a brand new, part two book for everyone.

Times: Tuesdays: January 23 through March 5. Our Tuesday small groups start at 9:30am with the large group gathering and teaching at 10:30am.

Thursdays: January 25 through March 7. Our Thursday small group meets from 7-8pm at Serve Coffee. Participants will watch teaching online at their convenience.
