What to Expect at Everyday Kids
What will my child do during class?
We are proud to say that our teachers use a preschool curriculum that teaches basic fundamentals and educational tools that will help your child be successful. Each teacher creates a structured daily routine that helps kids master skills based on an age-appropriate scale. Our preschool classes have an extra emphasis on school readiness.
When do we meet?
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 9:30am-2:30pm, during the school year
Monday and Wednesday, 9:30-2:30pm, during the summer
We ask that you pick up your child at 2:30pm. A late fee of $1 per minute will be charged after 2:35pm.
*Please note that for weather closures, EDK follows the Bethany Public Schools. If BPS closes for weather, we will also be closed.
How are kids divided into classes?
Your child will be placed in a class based on birthdate and abilities! We carefully plan each class to fit the needs of your child.
What does my child need to bring?
Lunch (ex. cold lunch, formula, breastmilk, water cup). We ask that you don’t pack anything that is a choking hazard and cut it up as you would at home (i.e. no hot dogs, popcorn, marshmallows, uncut grapes).
Loveys for nap time (favorite blanket, cuddle toy, pacifier)
If your child has transitioned out of a crib, then a nap mat is required.
An extra set of clothes in EVERY child’s back pack is required.
For children in diapers, we ask you bring a minimum of five diapers each day.
Please label everything!
What if I am out of town for one of the days, or can’t come?
The enrollment fee covers the whole month, so there is no reduction in tuition if your child misses a day. We do ask that you let us know if your child will be absent by calling us (405.789.2050), emailing director Heather Ryno (hryno@bethanynaz.org), or posting on the BFC Everyday Kids Facebook page. This helps your child’s teachers know they will be gone, and ensures that the office knows there is space for other kids to drop in on that day.
Motor Skills
Motor Skills is a unique class that is included in your child’s monthly tuition. This class includes music and movement that helps children of all ages further develop fine and physical motors skills through the fun of play and music.
Bethany Pre-K Students
We have a discounted half-day price for only those enrolled in Pre-K at another school. Check out our enrollment form for more information.
