Student Ministries Pastor

Bethany First Church is currently seeking a full-time Student Ministries Pastor. The Student Ministries Pastor will support the Lead Student Ministries Pastor in coordinating an effective student ministry, implementing fellowship, worship, biblical teaching, discipleship, and evangelism. The overall objective of the Student Ministries Pastor is to make Christ-like disciples, and then train and mobilize them to make Christ-like disciples.

• Shepherds and pastors students 

• Serves on the BFC Student Ministries team 

• Supports and implements strategy and programming for BFC Student Ministries 

• Leads BFC Student Ministries Volunteers

Qualifications and Position Requirements:

• Exhibits a personal and growing relationship with God, a teachable spirit, and a healthy personal life. 

• Strong biblical and theological background; 

• Is in agreement with Church of the Nazarene Statement of Faith

• Lives a lifestyle in full agreement with the Church of the Nazarene Covenant of Christian Conduct and Covenant of Christian Character.

• Self-motivated leader; demonstrates the ability to adopt and partner a long-term vision for family ministry at BFC.

• Strong relationship capabilities; has a passion for reaching people for Christ and helping people become more like Christ.

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field; candidates who have a call to ministry are on the track for ordination. 

• Strategic thinker who is also able to manage conflict and stay organized.

Everyday Kids Teacher

Everyday Kids at Bethany First Church of the Nazarene is seeking dedicated teachers to help create a safe, supportive space for children and parents. Everyday Kids Teachers play a key role in fostering a positive, nurturing, and educational experience for children in a structured Christian environment. Teachers are needed on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays throughout the year.
