Production Technician
Bethany First Church is currently seeking a part-time Production Technician. This role will involve serving as the primary load-in and load-out crew for various events throughout the week, as assigned by the Production Director. The Production Technician will also support the Production Director in maintaining and troubleshooting Audio/Visual systems across the BFC campus. Additional responsibilities include ensuring a safe, organized, and clean work environment, as well as assisting the Production Team with various tasks as needed.

Specific Areas of Responsibility:
Works with the Production Director to execute events
Communicate with the Production Director to understand the technical needs and schedule for each event.
Follow event-specific documentation, and work with event coordinators to ensure technical aspects align with the event goals.
Set up and adjust AV systems for the specific needs of each event (e.g., microphones for speakers, instruments for worship services, etc.).
Help maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
Maintain and store all equipment in accordance with church protocols.
Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and report any malfunctioning gear to the Production Director.
Help work on production department infrastructure projects.
Follow safety procedures for the operation and transport of equipment.

Self-motivated, capable of working on projects with little supervision.
Basic understanding of audio visual systems and best practices

Bethany First Church is seeking a part-time Connection and Discipleship Assistant to help facilitate with administrative tasks for both weekly ministry and special events in the areas of Hospitality and Adult Discipleship. Bethany First Church is seeking a part-time Connection and Discipleship Assistant to help facilitate with administrative tasks for both weekly ministry and special events in the areas of Hospitality and Adult Discipleship. Key responsibilities include volunteer coordination, support of coffee bar ministry, overseeing guest check-in and follow up, and other administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
Volunteer Coordination: Schedule and follow up with volunteers, create weekly communications, and assist with volunteer recruitment for special events.
Coffee Bar Ministry: Manage inventory, place orders, and coordinate with the Coffee Bar team for Sunday services and special events.
Hospitality Ministry: Ensure hospitality areas are stocked, arrange name tags for events, and oversee the delivery of refreshments.
Guest Check-In and Follow-Up: Oversee guest check-ins, maintain records, and facilitate follow-up communications with new visitors.
Next Step Course Preparation: Communicate with participants, prepare course materials and rooms, and assist with scheduling and event coordination.
Qualifications:
A personal and growing relationship with God and a teachable spirit.
Agreement with the Church of the Nazarene's Statement of Faith.
Alignment with the Church's Covenant of Christian Conduct and Character.
